The major regions on this list include the Core Worlds Sector, the Logres Cluster, and the Near Galaxy Region.
(Within Logres Cluster.)
(Within Logres Cluster.)
(Within Kwent Duchy. Containing Doesister System.)
(Within Kwent Duchy.)
(Within Corellon Barony.)
A major system inhabited primarily by Gnomoi.
(Containing Sirius Region.)
A small barony within Kwent Duchy made up of the major systems of Colos and Larethian and approximately 12 minor systems all of which are inhabited primarily by Gnomoi.
The military forces of Correllon amount to the equivalent of four mecha, plus supporting forces. Spacially, the systems are spread throughout the four counties of Kwent Duchy, occupying a special position because of the nature of their inhabitants. The current baron holds all member systems directly.
(Within Logres Cluster. Containing Kwent Duchy, Langston Duchy, Sores Duchy, and Tribruin District.)
The Corron Federation is the heartland of the Logres Cluster. It is the longest settled area, as well as containing the most habitable worlds. Certain areas on it's fringes have changed hands between the Federation and invading fringer governments several times.
(Within Logres Cluster. Containing Tintagel Duchy.)
(Within Beliesis County.)
Doesister is an M-M binary filled with very rich asteroid belts. Its government is extremely divisive since the system has been settled by those with a "gold rush" mentality. There is a marginally habitable tide-locked O-N world in the system. Access by jump drive is extremely poor.
A member of Kwent Duchy, Dwent contains the Wentry System, 11 other major systems and 10 minor systems. Two major and three minor systems joined the Jhu Nation in the year 60 coup. County military forces amount to the equivalent of 9 mecha with supporting forces. The local count also holds title to two subsidiary baronies.
Dwent is notable because it is the only county in Kwent where the majority of the population is ethnic Jhu. Dwent also contains the rich Wentry System.
(Within Veridun County.)
(Within Sores Duchy.)
(Within Near Galaxy Region. Containing Veridun County.)
(Within Logres Cluster.)
Lying within the Corron Federation, Kwent contains the four counties of Brandu and Trecatry (held by the duke), Beliesis, and Dwent. Kwent also contains Corellon Barony.
Kwent consists of some 60 major systems and an equal number of minor systems as of year 60. The minor systems number low because the wars in the area depopulated many of the previously inhabited minor systems. Kwent was governed from Wentry System until year 60 when the capitol was shifted to Trecatry System.
When the Jhu lost their homeworlds to the Daen in the year -20 they sought new worlds to settle, and many of their folk took service as mercenaries alongside the Arrex and Verrex in the Logres Cluster. (They also served as jump crew in numerous areas.) Vortex granted them permission to settle several worlds in the area that would become the Kwent Duchy. After 5 ASY that trickle of settlers became a flood which didn't end until 55 ASY.
The Jhu claimed Kwent in 9 ASY with the death Vortex, and put people they could trust into the positions of power. Faced with rebellion by their subject population, they ruled with an iron fist, often raiding into Langston County. They never caused the trouble of the Ang, Arrex, or Verrex however.
Thrym's campaign in 54 and 55 ASY involved using Kwent to divide the fringer forces. With that successful campaign, Kwent is now, in theory, a part of the Corron Federation, but the majority of those in power are still ethnic Jhu and share many ties with Jhu nation. Immigration by Jhu from the galaxy continues, though the majority are immigrating into the Jhu Nation. Kwent has almost no indigenous nobles, the long rule of the Jhu having driven most of them away, and those placed by Thrym being drawn back to aide their families during the current period of unrest. Kwent generally has a heavily factionalized culture replete with ossified governments. There is a extreme tendency towards violence, kept in check by a strong sense of prudence.
In year 60 a coup replaced the existing interstellar government with a more efficient one arranged upon more feudal lines. Military forces are a bit light for a duchy, being only able to mount the equivalent of 45 mecha, plus supporting troops, in the year 60.
The government of the duchy (and its subsidary interstellar regions) is primarily through a council of nobles who maintain the right to interfere with local system governments under extreme circumstances. Higher ranking nobles maintain several titles and thus have several votes. Admission to a title is by test, with a strict order, based on heredity, determining who is permitted primacy in testing.
(Within Corron Federation. Containing Langston Tor System.)
Langston Duchy and Langston County are synomous.
The major site for interstellar trade, Langston Tor is easily accessible by both Jump Drive and Warp Drive.
A major system inhabited primarily by Gnomoi.
(Containing Ang Nation, Arrex Nation, Corron Federation, Cymryn Alliance, Jhu Nation, Picti Region, and Verrex Nation.)
(Containing Gwessis Nation.)
(Within Logres Cluster.)
(Within Core Worlds Sector. Containing Sol County.)
(Within Sirius Region. Containing Sol System.)
(Within Sol County.)
The most developed and populated system in existence. Major inhabited regions include: Earth, Luna, Venus, Mars, Earth Ring, Earth Lagranges, Earth Trailing Trojans, and Earth Leading Trojans. Sol's original asteroid belt has been almost completely depleted for construction materials, but Saturn's ring system is even more spectacular.
Probably Sol System's most famous feature is the "Seven Towers of Earth." A group of seven orbital beanstalks which anchor an inhabited ring which encircles the entire planet in a geostationary orbit.
The Preservers of Sol own the moon Deimos (of Mars) outright.
(Within Corron Federation. Containing Glaston Tor System.)
(Within Tintagel Duchy. Containing Tintagel System.)
(Within Cymryn Alliance. Containing Tintagel County.)
(Within Tintagel County.)
(Within Kwent Duchy. Containing Trecatry System.)
(Within Trecatry County.)
Trecatry is a major G-G binary system. It's two habitable worlds contain a wide variety of biomes and have imported many examples of different evolutions from the Logres Cluster and the Near Galaxy. Together the two worlds cover a large portion of the inhabitable climates.
Trecatry is a better jump destination than most worlds.
Within the Corron Federation. Contains 49 major systems, 19 of which can support a mech individually. Many minor systems. Governed by Count Arthur (4 mechs, 6 knights).
3 Barons: (4 mechs, 1 knight), (4 mechs), Mashal (3 mechs, 1 knight relation). Arthur's knights: xPC, Keska, Rodal, Vordun, Sarimith, Barna. (Vordun & Sarimith are brother & sister. Barna is related to Mashal.
Arthur's family includes his wife, a daughter Gay (b37), a son Emris (b41), and a daughter Naejie (b43). Mashal's family includes an uncle, wife, brother knight (wife & 8 children), sister (husband & daughter), brother (wife), and a cousin knight (husband & 2 children).
Total military force of 23 mecha with light supporting forces.
(Within Gwessis Nation. Containing Frallac System)
(Within Logres Cluster.)
An F8V system, Wentry is a major trade port second only to Langston Tor in the Logres Cluster. The population is split nearly evenly between ethnic Corron and ethnic Jhu, but includes large enclaves of other groups. The Corron mainly occupy the major bodies and the Jhu mainly occupy the orbital regions.
Wentry is reasonably self-sufficient. Its main resource is its position, which makes it easy to access by Jump Drive, though it isn't ideally situated for Warp Drive. It also exports rare earths (Wentry 1) and exotic biologicals (Wentry 4). Wentry's primary imports are computers and other forms of information technology.
