Though Rose dominates, the two compromise throughout her reign. |
| 8 | Rose defeats Vortex's forces while Thrym keeps the fringer forces away. Vortex dies when his space platform explodes. |
| 9 | Using noble-piloted mecha, Rose and Thrym defeat a much larger fringer force. |

| 53 | [100 point characters] Play began at this point. |
| 54 | Rumors of psychotronic technology at
Glaston Tor (in the Logres Cluster) and Frallac (in the near galaxy)
begin to spread. Erlo Keyns and Orris Tintagel return to court and bring
the picti under Thrym's command. With her sister's aid Lena Tintagel
marries Mendies Traveler.
Thrym divides his command into administrative districts called duchies. Erlo Keyns is given command of Thia. Mendes Traveler is given Forbyreth. Yuren is given The Gurn. Although some 23 dukes are appointed through years 54 and 55, many districts are left without. |
| 55 | In a major battle in which he introduced micro-warp equipped mecha, Thrym breaks the back of invader military power for a number of years. Thrym dies from his battle wounds. The cluster begins fracturing along the lines of Thrym's duchies. Fringers begin taking back a number of worlds. |
