1. A group whose members are appointed by various branches of Exquaestio or Exquaestio allies to advise the Primate and keep open communications between the various branches.

Anradan:

1. A priest with administrative rank within the Exquaestio hierarchy.

Boon:

1. Magic granted by an entity of the dreaming.

Conclave:

1. Exquaestio's high council and governing body. Most of their business is done through correspondence. (see also Grand Conclave)

Devova:

1. The access and ease of use in a particular place and time which espiri have to glimmering. ("Sanctity" "Sanctification" "Holiness")

Ecclesia (to: Cleese):

1. A building or group of buildings used for Exquaestio's services.
2. An Exquaestio congregation.

Essence:

1. The innate magic of a natural creature.

Exquaestio:

1. The system of beliefs taught the Exquaestio religion.
2. The organization of the Exquaestio religion.

Espiri:

1. An individual given magical powers by the divinities of Exquaestio. ("Saints" "Clerics")
2. The division of Exquaestio's hierarchy dealing regularly with magic.

Feroze:

1. One of the major dieties worshiped by Exquaestio.
2. (Sedonian) A person who can be identified with the major attributes of the god Feroze.

Genius:

1. The rohain magical art.
2. The specific forms taken by a particular rohain's magic.

Glimmering:

1. The espiri magical art.
2. The perceptions gained by an espiri with magical ability.

Gleam:

1. An individual facet or area of glimmering. The known gleams are: Diabus, Diotus, Monus, Motus, Nuntus, Obscurus, Portus, Salubrus, Sanctus, Scirus, Specius, Diabus, and Vehementus,

Grand Conclave:

1. A meeting of the Conclave requiring personal or proxy attendance. A Grand Conclave must be called to elect a new Primate.

Habarket (to: Barket):

1. Forearm jewelry consisting of various symbols, often on disks, linked by thin cords or chains. The symbols are typically associated with stories from The Book of Travels. Habarket are often consecrated by espiri to aid in their control of glimmering. ("Holy Symbol")

Parr:

1. A minor goddess worshiped by Exquaestio.

Preceptory:

1. A group of buildings used by a body of rohain.
2. An organized group of rohain.

Quaestae (to: Kesta):

1. A member of Exquaestio who is not part of the hierarchy.
2. Any member of Exquaestio.
3. All members of Exquaestio or the Ministry of Inquiry in a mystic whole.
4. (future) A domagtic follower of Exquaestio's beliefs and ideals.

Rite:

1. A spell of the Glimmering.

Rohain:

1. Exquaestio's magic using warriors. ("Paladins")
